Book #20 for 2015
PopSugar Challenge Criterion Met: A book with antonyms in the title.
This was a surprisingly robust read, tackling some weighty issues (bullying, domestic violence) with an intriguing presentation. I really enjoyed this format with its occasional flash-forward to snippets of the investigation. Moriarty also handled the mum-drama elements, which are usually the least interesting parts to me, with a light touch.
I did find several things pretty predictable, especially when it became clear to me who seriously needed to die, but I have to admit I was surprised by its circumstances and who was responsible. Moriarty really know how to wrap up a story!
I would recommend this to anybody who at least kind of liked What Alice Forgot. This story is considerably better and makes me want to read more by this author.
